Ruba (she/her) is a communications strategist who has spent the last decade working with non profit organisations in Oxfordshire. Before her move into marketing and communications, Ruba explored the art world through various degrees, working in a major auction house and running a private London gallery.
Ruba's most recent experiences have been with charities who have a focus on creating long-term, systemic change - locally and nationally. She has worked on the festival of social change, Marmalade, for three years, in partnership with the Skoll World Forum, alongside a number of community-based organisations.
Ruba's expertise is in strategic thinking - finding ways in which to communicate sometimes complex subjects, to all audiences. By understanding both qualitative and quantitative data, she is able to pull together creative ways in educating and engaging digital and analogue followers.
Ruba is Lebanese-British, born and raised in South London, and now lives in West Oxfordshire. She is a native English speaker and fluent in Arabic.
