Jonathan is an expert in democratic innovation and citizen participation, with over ten years of experience at local, regional, European, and international levels. He is currently working with a wide range of actors : civil society, traditional political institutions (parties, parliaments, and governments), and international organizations. Jonathan's passion lies in rethinking citizen engagement to make it a vital lever for democracy, ensuring every voice matters in shaping the decisions that define our future.

For over more than a decade, he's had the privilege of contributing to the rise of the deliberative wave across the globe—from Australia to Lebanon, Kosovo, and the United States—through political advocacy, training, strategic reflections, and methodological support. One of his proudest achievements is the establishment of deliberative committees in Brussels—a world first that institutionalises the collaboration between randomly selected citizens and parliamentarians. Because addressing today’s political challenges requires the inclusion of citizens, Jonathan dedicates himself to supporting those who seek to open their institutions to these key actors—who are too often passive spectators in decision-making processes.
